Managed to break the clutch perch today.
Had about 40 minutes in making a shim to get rid of some of the play and the bottom half snapped off.
Probably a blessing as it broke with very little pressure.

Are ther better replacements than can accomadate the mirror and look reasonably close?
Where can I buy one other than eBay?

It's never the perch it's the frigging cable adjuster on it that the cable does not fit into! I drill out mine for the larger cable diam and even carry a spare STD perch and adjuster, I don't use the mirrored kind but have broken more than my share of the things.

On my now stolen H2 street screamer, I used a Yamaha YDS-3C clutch perch/lever, two bolts on the bar, strong as a tank. I doubt you can find one of those these days, but, they were the best.

I am running EX 500 perches on both of my bikes. Cheap and they look and work great. ( barnett 5 springs & sytec on the H2) I am running EX master cylinders as well.

Nice one Tim, I always like the ones that come off without taking the grip off.

Love this board; Gregz is sending me one.
For the record I see that Reproduction Decals now has a repro for $22 although the pivot pin is an addition $12.
They also have complete left and right switches / choke assemblies coming

Seems much easier to get parts these days than in the past.

Does the EX have a mirror mount?
Looks like there might be a dust cover over a hole for that use.
