JUst grab the rear sprocket and try to rotate it, if it moves a lot, then just glue in some strips of innertube onto the dampers. done deal.

You just have a problem with loose fitting rubbers Mark :e11

This is true. Where I grew up the hills were so steep and long, when your ball rolled down the hill you just said "screw it"...

I did this 15+ years ago before I came into some newer ones - I'd forgotten about it but you're right Moo, I remember it worked fine!
