Looking for a nice front fender for an KH400, "S" series, or other bike that ran an 18" front wheel. Want a fender that will look relatively stock on a H bike. No dents or terrible pitting in the chrome please...

Have you mounted the stock fender to see if it has clearance?

No, I haven't even mounted the 18" front wheel, but I'm sure (aesthetically) a fender intended to fit an 19" wheel will not look right when suspended over an 18" wheel. The bends have to be different...right? Once I get tubes, rim strips and and tires, I'll bolt it up and have a look. I still want a nice fender intended to fit an 18" wheel... ;)

I make a 18" fiberglass one that might fit.

S2A will be your best bet, the KH400/250/S3 Front Guards are a nightmare to find in decent condition

I have a couple fiberglass ones made for an 18". I can't remember where one of them came from, may be one of yours John...or it maybe one from Walms? I'd have to mount it on a fork brace (which I have) but again - I'm looking for a stock look. Maybe if it was painted to match it would look alright?

Still looking...BUMP!!

:( Thanks Bill, I may try that...but a nice chrome one would still be my preference.

I dug thru some stuff last night and found my fork braces and a fiberglass fender. I may give both of these options a closer look...

Any joy with the Spec2 manifolds?
