EVILbay.........grrrr...... I was bidding on a side stand for my H2 and it was just bid up to over $100.00 bucks for a KICK STAND. I missed out on a couple now that have gone for $35 maybe $40 because I forgot to get home in time to bid last minute. needless to say I would rather keep it local with the guys here on the board and give one of you's money for a side stand If anyone reads this and has an early H2 side stand sitting in the bottom of there tool box....let me know, PM....I will paypal you the money same day, and cover the USPS flat rate box. THANKS FROM MN where it is 40' F today and just got back from a ride on my triple on Jan. 8th,,,,,,,a guy could really get use to this weather during the winter! |

Mitch.. I probably have one..... You'll have to come get it though. ![]() And be sure to wash that salt-dust off the bottom of your bike. Im assuming you took the H1b out??? It will rust like MAD when the moisture in the air activates whatever salt/road chems are hiding in the nooks and crannies....Seriously! I took my H2 out for a ride a couple of winters ago and when I got home realized the mistake I made. I ended up disassembling most of the bike to make sure it was clean. |

Ya know, it's almost easier (and cheaper) to make one from an existing bike stand. I toyed with an old Suzuki stand- was the right size on the top, needed some cutting and welding to make the length right. Ended up just modifying my original H2 (cut and added 2"). |

Sounds like there is a market for reproduction stands, made from good steel, not cast steel. I'd even figure there would bwe a calling for adjustable lengths, along with ball or roller bearing actions at the bolt. Something for a person that can manufacture them to contemplate. |

I believe its the same length stand on all the smaller triples Buddy. Maybe even the same part number? A lot of H model owners have gone to using the S and KH series stands. |

Now that I've extended the rear shocks and lowered the forks in the clamps, my S2 stand is too short. Looking for a used stand to cut and weld if anyone has one for sale. Thanks |
