Might have John Aylor ask Hurley Wilvert what he did last year for rod kits for the A1/A7's, I seem to remember he modified H series rod kits to work. If, for any reason, you don't get comnnected with HTW, let me know and I'll ask him for you. One of the early mods for a bigger H1 was to use A7 pistons in it, only needed boring. I remember that there were some H seeries pistons that interchanged with not so much work into some of the older Jet Ski engines as well, and, maybe, maybe the Jet Ski rod kits are close, workable as well. MIght also look into F3 pistons/rings as well, they are still available, and if I remember, close to A7 sizing. Just a couple of thoughts for you to investigate/consider. |
