Hello everyone...I have a 1973 Kawasaki H1 500 D , and I need a left hand exhaust... part# 18001-084

I have to repeat, this is for a H1 D .....not an E or F , D as in Delta....

I have had so many people try and sell me E/F's its not even funny.

the 2 things that make the D different is exhaust port size and and the welded on rear bracket????

what I will except ...
    rusty, but not rusted through
dents, not crushed, but dented is fine.
not crushed at the tail end
    nothing floating around inside.
    no holes (see rusted through)

and not looking to pay for someones down payment on a new Malibu beach home..lol..
i had some guy try and tell me that one pipe was worth $1500 ...mmm no

if you all could check your stash/pile/closet and see if you have one, that would be great...

I will try and throw the story, and pictures, of the bike up in the build section.

thanks you all for your time

Also, I guess I need some education ....

doesn't the left hand exhaust , for a 1973 Kawasaki H1 500 D , have a rear mounting tab (to bolt to the frame) welded on from the factory?

or ....the only difference between a left hand exhaust H1-D and an E/F , is just the flange that goes into the cylinder?

I could have sworn RB sent me a pic, of an H1 D lh exhaust with a welded on tab, .....

but looking through the parts book , it lists 2 of those mounting brackets (on right, and the other????) that I can only assume would be used on the left side.

I've been racking my head just trying to get a lh exhaust...and looking for one with a welded on tab . ....

hellppppp ...lmao
