I am needing at least a seat pan for my 1973 S2A. The one on my bike is pretty rusted in spots and not sure if it will even be able to be recovered due to all the rust. :banghead

If you have one, let me know what you want for it and we can go from there.

Thanks in advance.

I believe I have one with a non-oem cover, buried in the trunk of my 89 LX Mustang, which itself is covered with parts and parts boxes... I'll tunnel my way through the back fold-down seat and report back.

Thanks guys, I look forward to seeing what you have. I have a new seat cover from Reproduction Decals to use if need be. That is when I discovered the seat pan was in sorry shape...

I took a look and I have a bare pan. The sides and top have surface rust but not to the point of being brittle (looks worse than it is...). It appears all teeth are intact and there is one split on the side about in the middle at one of the teeth. Not brittle, but I'd soak the edges and top surfaces in evaporust or coat with converter, or lightly blast before priming and painting. Again, I wouldn't hesitate to restore this and you'd have a solid seat - it may be better than what you currently have(?), but if you want very good condition, go with Steve's seat. Otherwise you can have this one for $15 + shipping to you from CA.

For $15 + shipping I will buy it. I will PM you my address.

Steve, I am also interested in your seat as well so if you could send a pic of it and what you want for it as a price we can go from there.

Thanks again to the both of you! 8-)
