I'm getting this insurance claim cleaned up and am in need of replacement parts. Here's what I'm looking for.....

Handlebars, OEM or aftermarket, looking for new
Left Headlight Ear, looking for NOS
Shifter and rubber, looking for NOS
Left hand grip, looking for NOS or aftermarket replica
Headlight bucket, can be used but needs to be straight, will be blasted and painted.
Left Turn Signals and lenses, looking for VERY decent used OEM units, will go aftermarket as long as they match OEM
Ignition cover, 4 bolt model, like for new or something that will polish up to new.

I'm sure there are other parts that may be needed, haven't broke the bike down to look yet. I'll post more as I start digging into this machine. Wanted to see what you all have before going outside the board.

Headlight bucket coming your way, it will need blasted and paint but its straight and dent free. I will check my turn signal stash, I will send the best 2 I have. Shipping it to the same place as before? Fourth floor? Dork signature required?  Glad to hear you are ok. Cheers!

You're all right, I don't care what Moo says about ya. ;)

Appreciate you hooking me up. I got that all straightened out and all packages now appear on my desk first thing in the morning. Let me know what you need for the stuff.

I got the last set of bars off Jess years ago, hope he can still get some. I've been trolling ebay but no NOS items. At least I have until next spring to dig those items up. The adjuster signed off today on the damage and he says if I wanna straighten up what I have to get by so I don't miss the last few weeks of riding season, to go ahead.

I don't see how he could stop you, unless he took the wrecked parts with him to sell to Mr. Monkeyclaw.

they would also need to be submerged in saltwater for a year to be monkeyclaw quality...

Monkeyclaw........ now that guy can move some junk.

The problem is the adjuster I'm working with is in Ohio, the other dude that showed up at the house to photo the bike was just some lacky. He showed up when I wasn't here, the wife was with him, and between the two, unless it was obvious they wouldn't know what's broke, let alone take pictures of the correct damage. The wife told me he took photos of some scratches on the right hand pipe and that side didn't get any damage. Who knows what he took pictures of.

The bike is being processed through their 'exotic toys' dept, whatever that means. They were talking about maybe making me run it to twiggs for an estimate, so I was afraid they'd try and back out of stuff I managed to fix up. You know insurance
companies, I wouldn't trust an adjuster as far as I could throw one.

They gave me 2375 for the damages and 300 for my coveralls and helmet. I gladly accepted.

John

When you get time, I'm looking for an invoice and lead time for that reed kit. Thanks in advance.

Jim

I wanna go ahead and pay you for those pipes. Can you send me the invoice or whatever so I can pay you?

Thanks
