In the process of sorting out some light-throttle pinging on my H2, I think I've tracked it down to a very corroded original needle jet/emulsion in one carb.
My theory is that it's clogged and not emulsioning (is that a word?
) correctly and allowing entirely the wrong or bad mixture through at about that part of the throttle opening where it does all of its work - hence the pinging.I'll take a good stock H2 needle jet/emulsion tube (type 171, size O-6) off of anyone's hands that may have one lying around that they don't require any more, please!
