And by "rear guard" are you referring to the fender/mud guard, or the chain guard?

Sorry Californian brother - terminology! Rear fender long line European style. Maybe there is one lurking in the USA? I just missed the bars but thanks for the heads-up.

NEVER seen One in the States . . . But they did have them in Canada

Last One (N.O.S.) I sold on Ebay 5 Years ago went for $1,000 :shock:

I have a very early S2 that has a short rear fender. I assumed it was a Canadian model but it has a sticker on the tail from a dealer in St Pete FL. Could have been sold there used...
Anyway, it was always my assumption that Europe got the long fenders and Canada had short ones. Maybe it was just an H2 vs S2 thing? Or different story for each model?
