Thanks for the replies and advice!

I'll likely go with the Patrick Bras kit, although the 10mm 'bolts' in that kit have a nut at each end...

Are the OEM bolts, bolts (with a head as such) or are they essentially a rod with a threaded section on each end like the Patrick Bras kit?

His kit is more like a early H1 design. Mosty all wrong for a H2, except for 2 short bolts. The 8mm bolts are the only pieces you can't find new or restored easily on eBay.

Ah, ok.

I can fairly easily source the 8mm bolts here, as that's not an altogether unusual size - the long 10mm ones don't exist anywhere but in Kawasaki's parts catalogue or an engineering shop...

All I really need is one of the 10mm x 274mm bolts, the two 8mm x 125mm bolts and some washers and nuts to suit both bolt sizes.

So... if anyone has one of the 10mm jobbies?

...Let me check what I have, I went through this a few (Well, like 20 years ago!), and have some agro 10mm bolts left over. I picked the best ones for my eternal project, but I'm sure I have some bolts that will do the job....they will need a wire wheel, and re-zincing, but I have them! Plus, I'm in Australia......give me a day or so , and I will check. They are yours, if I can find them!

I have everything except for the 8mm bolts. All re-zinc coated. In USA

P.M. me your address, and I'll send 1 your way, it will need a re-zinc! Just 1 10X270mm bolt needed?
