As the title says, need a RH H2B 750 headlight mount, or fork ear. At this point I will take any condition, let me know, thank you.

I have this fork ear I believe to be for an H2B. It matches the one on my 74. Has a slight crease in it, some rust and pitting.

Still looking for one? If you send a PM or post here I'll dig mine out of the storage closet.

Sorry guys, had not been back to this thread. I won one yesterday on Ebay, but I'm not sure of it's condition, might have creases around the light mount boss, I'll get it and look and see if it's repairable and then can be chromed. There is also one being bid on now on Ebay, will see how high that one goes.
I should start another thread on this, but I am looking for a chain guard now, H2B or C is correct. One being bid on Ebay now but seems like a few guys want it.

Well I got the Ebay headlight mount and it was bent and damaged beyond repair, the seller did not show a top view to show how bad the end of it was bent and torn from a big crash, so I am sending it back. And that means I missed out on the one being bid on, which looked nice, and went for less than what I paid... figures. So I'm looking again.

I found this yesterday while I was searching for other parts. It used to be mounted on my H2C. Dogs knocked the bike over and bent the left ear. Now I'm using Emgo headlight ears.

The wear in the chrome, I believe is from the throttle cable rubbing against it. I hardly noticed until I took this pic.

DGA if you're interested please send a PM.

Here are two more pic. The mustard color on the inside part is residue from soaking the part in oxalic acid (rust remover).

Mike what was your mixture ratio using the Oxalic acid?

It didn't affect the finish on the chrome?

Do you prefer that to a product like Evapo-Rust?

I prefer oxalic acid because it doesn't cost much. I can buy it on e-bay and there's no problem with shipping it through the mail (no liquid).

As far as the mixture goes, I just eyeball it. If a part doesn't have much rust it won't need much oxalic acid. It doesn't damage chrome.

Thanks for the offer Mike. At this point I think I will wait for a nice one as my LH one is perfect... getting picky I guess, not that I can afford to be with hard to find parts......
Still need a chain guard though. Maybe a repro production run would be worth it for the B/C type, none around.
