Looking for part number 43042-001/ It is the portion of the brake caliper referred to as caliper A which holds the piston. The rest of my caliper cleaned up nicely, except the piston is frozen in part A. Working on it as we speak, but, right now its winning. Thanks, Robert TN

The easy way to remove the piston is to use the master cyl to pump it out while still hooked up. An alternative is to use compressed air... be careful as it can shoot out like a bullet from a cannon.

If you don't have air you can use a grease gun and slowly ooze it out, a little messier though.

Thanks all. After 3 days of Heat, liquid wrench penetrating oil, channel locks and compressed air, finally moved. So frozen at one point, 120lbs of air pressure (wouldn't budge) Now clean-up and new parts is all that's needed. Thanks again to all. Merry Christmas
