The S2A covers aren't hard to find. He's probably looking for the S2 cover which did not have the oil tank sight hole in it. They are very hard to find. |

Thank you ![]() it is not for me,its for a friend who is (over)restoring his S2,he claimed the 72 S2 side cover should not have the oilhole in the panel,but a cover with slot on the side,like the 72/73 H2 cover. looking at the links you posted,he must be wrong regarding the sidecover ?? I don't know,havent had a S2 since mid 80`s ![]() |

And as stated, the right side oil tank cover has a slot in the back side like the H2. |

Just modify an s2a one. I did it. it is not hard. Fill the holes, and cut a slot. |
