Well this winter, my plan is to complete this H2 and fully assemble it. I've kept the thing in storage, in pieces, because I just refuse to assemble most of a bike and still be short pieces for it. The time has arrived and I need to get some of the final parts. I just finished ordering the K2Tek chambers for it and need some additional parts. I need.........

1. A nice seat. RL bought a repop seat off hvc cycle.

2. A good headlight or complete headlight with trim ring. don't really need the bucket.

3. The charging idiot light for the headlight. Need any retaining hardware to mount it in the bucket as well. RL Apparently I don't need this item. thanks for the insight mraxl.

4. A nice foot brake, shift lever, and kickstart lever. I have the one that came with the bike but its a tad rusty, so hoping to replace with a better part than I have. RL pending sale on the foot brake and kickstarter. RL Steve covered my shifter.

If anyone has anything to offer, hit me up on this thread or by PM.

The H2B headlight didn't have any idiot light.
There are nice aftermarket headlights available complete that automotive lamps can be used in.

I reckon it was just a rubber plug then. the bucket I had has the hole but nothing in it. I'll review the part diagrams. Thanks

You may have an earlier bucket, with the hole for the high beam indicator.

I reckon its possible. I'll have to pull the bucket and look at the resource site. It came with the bike and it was already disassembled when I got it. H2s are new to me so I'm just not sure what bucket I have. It looks like the correct size unit but the guy I got it from may have thrown a bucket in from another bike. I'm sure I'll learn quite a bit messing with it over the winter. Hopefully in March, this thing will be ready for registration and title work.

I see HVC cycle is apparently selling a repop H2B seat. Can anyone vouch for the craftsmanship of the unit? :eh: I'm not doing a perfect restoration on this bike but do want it to turn heads like the S3 does, maybe wheel it to a few shows this year. ;)

Probably have every thing, no H2B seat , just a H2C seat.

They're all the same Jim (Apart from the 1971 H2 shell in Plastic)

Thanks for the confirmation RB. Some items have changed. Danny has the seat hardware, kickstarter, and foot brake and am working that sale. I did purchase the repop seat off HVC cycle. bike isn't much good if you can't sit on it and I didn't feel like going through another seat rebuild. Talking to Moo about boring my cylinders and possibly throwing some reeds on them. Getting closer.

Thanks, RB. I have a shell from Z1 Enterprises, from the set that fits a 7" automotive headlight, and that one doesn't have a hole. I assumed it was a reproduction of the later type. You know what they say about assuming.

The H2B should have a rubber plug in the hole instead of the light. The rubber plug was still available last time I checked.
