Anybody have an old engine laying around that they want to pull a gear out of.

I'd buy the whole engine as well.

If the bushing is DOA, it can be replaced with a shop made machined one, and, the engagement "dogs" can be reworked, if needed, to save an old gear, just info for consideration. I realize a better gear is significantly easier to work with, but....options might possibly be available.
