Hi - I know it's not a triple (but I do have some - honest) but I need a petrol tap for my '71 F6 - can anyone help please? |

I just checked motogrid.com, and, as you are already aware, the fuel petcock and repair parts are NLA. this doesn't mean upi are shot down, as those parts are not made by Kawasaki, but by the various carburetor manufacturers, Mikuni, Keihin, etc., and parts/full taps might be available through old parts supplies for other makes of bikes. It will boil down to your ingenuity and search to find those parts, and/or make them from other things. fuel bowl 'O rings' are just that, an O ring, and are available at hardware stores, etc., same as the one between the tank and tap. If you need a whole tap, they are out there, just have to find one, from whatever, that fits and works. Welcome to old bike resto, section 203. |

Not a bad profit margin for a part that cost a whopping 8 bucks when the bike was new. |

hi, how is your frt wheel? i have an 18 frt from a f6 i was going to use at bonneville, but went diff direction with frt end. i will look see if i have a petcock from a f7-same. |
