This looks like the right forks: http://www.ebay.com/itm/291470625609?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

Tubes have some rust, sliders look correct.

Nice find! KH400 parts are hard to come by in the US. Id love to get a complete ignition system to retro-fit my S2. Need flywheel, stator, CDI box, coils, and reg/rec at a minimum. Harness would be nice too.
Back on topic, do you still want the wheel assembly with the axle and triple clamps? The date code is 6H on the wheel and 1L on the rotor. I believe that makes it a July 1976 wheel. The forks are pretty nice; I would not hesitate to use them. Fresh seals and an oil change would bring them back to top condition. They do appear to be S3 not KH400. Perhaps replaced at some point in a previous life! LOL

Maybe the chrome in the travel area is in good shape and you can use the fork tubes. If yes, then you got a great deal.

Sweet Im glad you found the right forks. I know they are rare! Do you want the wheel, axle, or triple clamps I have pictured? Anybody want the S3 forks? They are not rusted and not leaking. I hate to put this stuff back in storage and let it rust away for another 10 years.

Also, I have these KH400 oil seals listed on ebay. Maybe you can use them? Make offer.
