Hi all ,I need a front staunchion leg for a 1974 H2B 750 the chromed bit that goes up into the triple clamp as mine is rusty about a foot above the fork boot would need to be cheap though as the postage to australia will be hefty I don't think theres right and left hand for that part,Cheers HOOTER :e11 :e11

They are a pattern part that surprisingly can be bought quite readily here in UK. Check your specialist retailers in Aus maybe? Failing that, there must be an outfit there that does hard re-chroming. It's a normal procedure for restorers once again over here.

Here are two sources that spring straight to mind:-
http://www.kawasakitripleparts.com/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=fork&product_id=153
https://www.z-power.co.uk/merchantmanager/product_info.php?cPath=1_37&products_id=195
Shipping from UK would be stupid. I'm pretty sure they're not made over here and MUST be available somewhere over your side. Especially as you are closer to Japan.

Here is someone I found in Oz without too much trouble, though they do say "not in stock"
http://www.initial-z.com/h2750suspension.html

These are cheaper, though still in UK.

Just be sure to inquire what make the pattern stanchions are (Emgo is OK).
If they're from Frank's Maintenance and Engineering (Forking by Frank) then stay away. They rust like crazy.

Hooter

I just had a set of fork tubes made......."Frank Forks" in Illinois for H2B ($293), they are on the internet..........they are first class.......HVC Cycle in Nebraska got them made (talk to Brad the Owner), did the gold valve install and mods, racetech springs, new seals, boots, spacer, assembled.......about $900

I have also seen them at Mid Atlantic for like $125 a pair........don't know what quality though
