Just finishing a rebuild on the above. I got the bike a year ago and the center stand has never been right. You have to be Hercules to raise it on center stand. (I am 6'2" 225) when bike is even, when sat on, and center stand lowered; one side touches the ground the other is off by at at an inch! Also when retracted does not sit according to factory recesses in pipes. My guess, "Stand came down at some point in its life, and was "tourqued/bent" resulting in current situation. Now just kickstand used.
If anyone has a locate on a new or decent conditioned one I would appreciate it. Robert TN Ps I don't know how many different stands there are, and which years fit which years? Thanks again
