I just visited my chrome shop ... I wish I had a gun.
Long story short, I'm looking for 69 H1 rear shocks (those with sand cast nuts) in good usable state.

Worse.
"We managed to buff out all of that rough castings in those adjusters and that rough weld on outer tubes".

Well, the adjusters may be salvageable but not the actual tubes.
