I know you probably want to minimize cost Steve, but if you could pick up (maybe even trade someone for) some RD 350/400 forks, I believe Mark (m in sc) has stated that these will bolt-in the S-series trees? I am planning this for my project S2, and already have the forks as well as RD400 mags (I'd like to have the rear disc as well). Again, you'd either have to get these cheap, or maybe trade someone parts who has both an RD and a Triple.

Darrin, could you please post the weight of the RD400 mags? I have heard from several reliable sources that the RD400 mags are a near bolt on for the S bikes but are very heavy, however I have never had one in my hands to compare to the stock S/KH wheels...
Always good to have data! :ugeek:

A good friend in Tehachepi CA sent me a sweet set of S3 forks that will be here Thursday Darrin, thanks.
Offered at a very fair price and I didnt even ask. He is just that kind of guy...

I also have a set of S2A tubes being brought to Ricks for me to pick up this weekend in Michigan.
One of the awesome Canadian boys offered them up so I can transplant the guts in to my KH lowers.
Planned to do that and buy some gold inner tubes.
I have options now.

What a wonderful world these smokey beasts have created for us huh???

Is it possible that the KZ200/400 tubes are the same? Just a thought.

Hey Bill, I only have tire-mounted mags, and they're approx. 26-lbs F, 30-lbs R with disc bolts still attached...if that's any help. :eh:
