I am reluctant to disagree with The Oracle, given how much knowledge you have given me for free over the last decade and more but KH4 and S3 baffles measure the same to me ???

KH baffles are about 7/8" shorter.
All 400 mufflers are stamped S3 but true KH will have 76 preceding the stamped number.
I have both in the workshop and can provide pics if needed???
18033-051=S3/A 18033-097=KH

I no longer have a 400, but are these two interchangeable, and if so, is one preferred over the other, say less restrictive in design? And I gather that the S3 is the same (or close to) as the H1B?

havent been on a while - forgot my password :roll:

dale is of course correct, but as i have three pipes and one baffle, any two baffles will do and then i will cut them to suit.

and yes the first s3's had baffles same as a h1, but i didnt know it was h1b - same part no. Years ago I bought some nos h1 baffles for my s3 :thumbup:

so anyone got two, please
