Hello All,

I'm restoring a H1A with CDI ignition. But the ignition cap is missing. It would be great if someone has an extra at home.
I would prefere the black cap and it would be very good if it comes with the 4 wirings. Payment can be done with paypal.
It would be great if someone could help me.

Many thanks and all the best from Germany
Ralf

There were three different rotors for early H1, and two different color caps.

Rotors,

Original had a hex head screw that was not accessible, and was green, had to pull the cover to get the rotor off.

Second was also green, called a "QD" (quick detach) type, also had a 28mm length. This rotor was installed onto early shafts by literally breaking the old first type rotor off with a hammer, removing the screw from the cap side of the cover, and sliding the second design rotor into place. This rotor was also green.

Last, color dark gray, same as QD, but 31mm length.

"Length", the length of the rotor shaft itself.

Caps,

Original green, up until change over to last type rotor, then, were replaced by below

Second design, dark gray, for use with later dark gray 31mm QD rotor.

original to QD rotor changeover was part of the factory build transition @ H2 engine 8,800 to 8,801, see service bulletin on resources site.

Also the 2 different rotor shafts. The later shaft having a larger end & a snap ring so the revised rotor would snap on. There is also a red rotor as well.
