I got a complete kit with bucket from z1enterprises.com for my H2 and it's great. The kit without the bucket is fine too, but I didn't have a good bucket. Of course you can use any automotive headlight after you have the kit. I can't help you with H1 information, but the how-to section of the resource site has a couple options.

The H1 has a 6 inch headlight which is uncommon.

I used the kit from Z1 Enterprises for my KZ900 (7 inch headlight) and it looks great.

would there be a problem with more draw on the circuits/charging system??

The quartz-halogen headlamps I'm familiar with don't draw more current than the standard ones, they just make more light. You can check the wattage spec to be sure.
