Hey Jeff,
What is turn around time for your work (not including shipping)?

I can usually finish them in a few days.

Great
I'll send you a PM first but will get parts shipped while I'm on vacation in the beginning of July.

Installed bushings in your shifter and kicker. It's much better now. It'll ship Monday.

Thanks for the work
Jeff

I've adjusted my wording and prices to include new stainless steel pins with the bushing service. Kickers are the same price and the shifter has been lowered to $75 ( from $89 ).

The reason is that the old pins are too worn to end up with a good fit. Every one so far has purchased new pins.

Hey Jeff, one of the Canadian guys was asking about fixing his kicker, so I posted a link to this thread.
It was mentioned by another poster, he made a new dimple for the ball while fixing his sloppy kicker.
I have seen many bikes where that was a sloppy mess as well.
Is that another thing you can add as a service?
Nice new dimple and a new stainless steel ball bearing should make the kicker lever snap in like new right?
Pretty sure the balls were the same ones used in the steering stems on H1 etc...

Wear on the pin, at the top pivot on the kicker arm and in the block is usually the problem. I have new ball bearings and springs if the originals are worn or missing.

The bushings and new pin has taken care of the problem so far. They "index" and hold on the pin when I'm done with them.

The chrome plating is extremely difficult to machine thru as it's very high in nickel.

Wow, you picked a thread from Dec 2015, COOL! it's sometimes hard to do searches on certain things.

I don't know if he can do a 400 but he's done a couple of H2 linkages and a couple of pumps for me - the craftsmanship was perfection. I say that because he's my friend but because it's true.
