One thing to consider is to make the tapered primary pipes by either stamping, or, better, hydro-forming. The costs to hydro-form are not that bad any more, and I am sure there are many more options for producing them.

How about a "flipper cone" in the body?

When the late Jim Fueling and I worked on developing the anti-reversion headers for 4 stroke engines, we also worked on a private project, same premise, two stroke pipe. Interesting results.

I wish jim would make the rr denco pipes up swept pipes just name your price .I have been looking for a set for my 1972 750 Kawasaki I had a set back in the late 80,s sweet pipes.
