new winter project for 71 H1A just received. Probably going to have to do new top end. Does anyone suggest a particular wrist pin puller? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Probaby going to start this afternoon. Tks Robert

I just use a sharp tool like a triangular deburring tool to clean the deposits off the end of the bore, and push the pin out with my finger.

I used 2 strategically sized deep sockets and a C-clamp...
I didn't care if the piston was damaged though. Good old fashioned brut force and ignorance. :mrgreen:

I have a Motion Pro, but with stock H-series (and probably S-series, although I haven't checked) wrist pins, the ID is too small not allowing the Motion Pro shaft to go through..

So I turned on the bench grinder and ground the shaft of the tool down so it would go through stock Kawi pins. Looks like crap now, but works fine.

Small screw driver to pop out the clip , 1/4 inch drive socket on a hand driver and push the pin through, works for me :thumbup:

Exactly. I had to get pretty physical pulling one out of my seized H2 last year. I can guarantee those gentle little methods mentioned above would not have moved this particular pin even a millimetre. I ended up using a fine threaded stainless bolt and a system of washers and sockets. I thought the bolt was going to snap.

That's fair enough - I've never had more than a mild seizure to pull apart, and it's always been by hand. :)
