I took this H2 crank apart today and I think I may have to replace this Rod !!

That rod was only a few cycles from completely failing/breaking.

If the right pieces were used in the construction, that rod would make a GREAT shop, or other door knocker. My front door knocker is a Forgedtrue Top Fuel Chrysler aluminum rod with no cap.
