Thanks for the connect, Tom. I emailed Roger, haven't heard back yet. I haven't seen Roger in 43 years. I looked up his phone prefix from your email, not far away, Tahoe to down in the valleys, too bad he is still in Socialist Kalifornia, though. I went from Champion to setting up HTW Racing with Hurley Wilvert just after. LOTS of memories, and history in it all.

I've been busy recovering from a serious medical issue, and teaching myself to walk again, after our local "hospital" tried to turn me into a diabetic. I have also been busy trying to get race motorcycles to run around race tracks in a winning fashion, tough deal, especially when I can't go to them, it is all through internet/email connection of late.

Have you run the A7R as of yet? If so, how is it doing? I ran into a KR 350 and a KR750 a year ago, they are here now, part of the collection.

Hi Dave , sorry your going thru medical hell, I had a laminoplasty on C3-C6 in may and now limited use of left arm, so the want to do artifical disc on C5-C6 , C6-C7 and fuse C7-T1 in August. Also the A7RA ran great last time I started it , thanks again for the lab seal you built, should've had you make about 5 more for all the A7's / american eagles.
Meeting Rodger was a kick, I had heard of an old triple behind a house and left my card on his door, and he finally called and i'M BUYING ALL OF HIS MC STUFF, including a 71 H1 he used to drag race, all of his service manuals, an fresh 72 H2 engine and lots of parts that Bob Hansen gave him microfish cards and reader, h2 cdi testers,
Was hoping he had a lead on an H1Ra engine, but nope , My H1RA has a street based engine in it and would love to get a H1R eng to complete it
anyway glad your doing good a happy I was able to assist getting you and Rodger reconnected
shoot me an email and love to make the trip down the east slope of the sierras to visit sometime
Wondering if the H2 engine could've come out of Yvon's H2 that he raced in the Open Production Class on occassion , Bob had told him it was all freshened up and ready to go.
He did save 1 or 2 special pieces for you
