Interesting, looks like they tilt the carbs up a bit. Is that for crankcase clearance? |

John, Going that big on the carbs...do you get a kind of secondary Venturi effect as the mixture enters the smaller intake port? Are they designed to match a reed block or the cylinder. Appears to be the cylinder? Or do the reed blocks neutralize any of that potential? I gotta believe they have to taper down some to match the cylinders? Enquiring mind need to know! 4Dog |

One plus (beside the straight shot intake) is it adds some intake length/area, this allows for a bit of ram effect from the intake flow, also changes the intake wave timing to the carb. These adapters are actually for the guys running piston port motors. I do have a Stage II reed conversion for the guys wanting big carbs and reeds. ![]() |

Would they hurt using them with your stage one kit? They look good, would make carb removal easier, with the 34's a guy has to do a bit of shaving on the carb bowls and I still have some trouble getting the left carb on and off. Having a straighter shot can't hurt. I have been thinking of making new spacers on the stage one kit, angled just a bit for these reasons . Maybe this is the answer I was looking for. ![]() |

I looked, won't work, too different. If you cut a bit off the top of the countershaft cover, the carb comes off much easier. |

That's to bad... more of a looks thing for me, it looks strange in my mind when ever I look at the cylinders angle compared to carb angle. Looks like a good product ![]() |
