In addition to the mild steel S2 and H1 chambers that are in stock, we now have late H1 Denco reproductions in 304 stainless steel available. Price is $1,095 plus actual cost shipping. The Denco style silencer cores (baffles) are mild steel, since they don't rust anyway. I didn't want to drive the cost up by making those in stainless. The cylinder adapters are electroless nickel plated mild steel. The kit comes with springs and stainless Allen head bolts for the adapters, although they're not shown.

I can be emailed using the address in my avatar.

The hangers come with rubber vibration mounts.

Adapters are squared off in the lathe for a good fit against the exhaust ports.

Hi Jim,
I'll put my questions on here as maybe someone else has the same questions:
Will these fit my 1971 H1A?
I'd like to not weld or drill my bike to make them fit (screw brackets to existing fittings is OK).
I assume that I need to remove the centre stand.
Any thing else I need?
Got a picture installed?
My bike is just a Sunday club run bike, so it is mainly for the looks & noise :D
Cheers

Thanks for the interest, Peter. These won't properly fit '69-'72 H1s, but we're going to be doing those soon. Probably after the Deals Gap meet when I get a little breathing room. No permanent modification to the bike is needed.

Yes, you need to remove the center stand for Dencos. You can see a photo of a set of my H1 mild steel Dencos that a customer chrome plated at http://www.lakeserv.net/kaw/chambers/h1.html If you click the photo, you'll get a big version. The prices on the site are out of date and the stainless ones aren't listed. It's on my list to update the site.

You'll find that Denco chambers do more than sound and look good. They're very good street chambers, and can hold their own on the track.

(thanks, Z)

Thanks Jim, please let me know when the H1A's will be available in stainless (or would you recommend another finish)?
Cheers,

The raw stainless is nice, and very low maintenance. If you like black or chrome, mild steel is the way to go. All our chambers ship "as welded", so anything other than raw is up to you. I use Mop and Glo on my mild steel chambers to keep them from rusting. Eventually if they get less than pretty, I'll spray them black.

Thanks Andrew. Rich, I hope to add early H1 and H2 pipes shortly after the Deals Gap meet.

Very nice indeed !!!!

Is there any reason that they could not be polished if one desired ??
