First fire after rebuilding 40 lectrons w/ power rings. Bike had not been run in awhile & almost sold due to being semi employed since 08. Anyway full time job again and back to working on the toys :) (Stage 3 Gast motor)

I take it you plan to ride it mostly on the drag strip.

Nice to meet you, welcome to the board.

Hi Jim, This is Mark Gastmeyer recently purchased a few things from you.

Originally when I purchased this bike had planned to do some vintage drag racing. That was 10 years ago and now being a bit older that notion has gone away. Now I just ride it around to various car & bike shows etc.

I've actually been on several of the forums over the years after being laid off in 08 stopped all hobbies and concentrated on survival.

Very happy to be tinkering again :)

Ah yes, Hi Mark, it's good to see the H2C running. Maybe someday add some reeds and you'll have a heck of a street H2. Not that it isn't now, but I bet the bottom end torque is a bit less than stock.

Glad things are brighter and that you are able to enjoy your bike again.
Can you get away with open chambers on the street in your area?

Not sure about legality of straight stingers in my area? Have actually ridden right next to Cop car & He just drove on? Another time had started it up in driveway & it was smoking a bit just as a cop drove by. He gave me a nasty stare & pointed being a young guy I assumed he didn't know it was a 2 stroke like many. Normally Of course I avoid really getting on it because it roars like a wild beast :D

Actually going to be tearing the bike down to weld a crack in the frame discovered while fitting the carbs back on :( . Looks like its in a place mentioned in the past as a common weak area. The left front downtube just above engine mount lug cracked clean through ! So looks like I'll be freshening up the bike will add bracing to avoid furthur cracks. Thinking that either previous owner or myself may have cracked it doing a wheelie?
