It's not an absolute fact that a snorkel/intake runner will hurt performance. An air filter crammed too close to the carb inlet is more likely to deaden performance and velocity stacks are a good way to increase performance. :)

You can barely git a finger in the snorkel from what I remember. No air, no power......

The early H2 snorkel is bigger, and more of a "straightener", than the later "silencers" - then again I don't know/want to know how big your fingers are....! :? :lol:

If the snorkel opening is 52 mm diameter, it's not a restriction.

Running without the snorkel is definitely not going to restrict performance !
Anyway what main jet size do you recommend with the pro flo chambers .

Just for a reference point, I ran a '72 H2, mild port-timing (2mm raised exhaust), J&R pipes, stock carbs, pod filters, and it ran best with 110 mains, and raised needles. Just an FYI.

When I ran pro flo's I had 107.5 to 110's depending on weather. I always go to 40 pilots too :)
