Those stinger tubes look REALLY small on the Higgspeeds....

What is the I.D.??? If not at least 7/8", you have to VERY careful and thorough with jetting. Especially if you like to wring the bikes neck.

In my own personal experience. H2's that are street ridden (and thrashed) do not like a small ID stinger. Dragbikes...fine, but NOT on the street.

I have had them on for about five months and had no issues with power it runs great, just the wonderful sound of the seventy's only louder so these drivers here in Albuquerque that don't see me will hear me and not kill me!! I did put in Ivan's carb kit when I installed them and that made a HUGE difference in the bike, no more surging and bucking.

They do appear to be small, I'm even more conservative than you in this regard Cody, 1" id is what I use for H2's... Better to leave a bit of topend HP on the table then melt a guy's motor down on him.
Scott Clough told me once that he had some good results tuning stingers with a bolt screwed in the side to act as a tuneable restrictor. I'm not sure how much benifet he got at the end of the day though?

It's not a "power" issue. A smaller ID is going to give you more peak power....(simple terms)
It's an issue of keeping too much heat in the pipe.
If you are jetted on or near the ragged edge of lean (and every day is a different day due to ambient temp, humidity, etc), it doesn't take much more than a sub-60 second blast at wide open to melt pistons.

I'm by no means an expert on expansion chamber theory, but I do know how to melt pistons...

What do the "experts" say?

TTnut used a rule of thumb, 55% the width of the exhaust port for the I.D. of the stinger and the length is typically 10-12x the diameter.

These were built by the professionals at Higgspeed, should I be worried about some of the concerns that have been posted? As I said before I have had no issues that I know of but I haven't looked at a piston. :problem:

Pictures can be deceiving, what is the diameter of them?
Also, like Cody said, as long as you aren't wringing it out all the time, you should be fine.
Denco used 3/4" on their drag stingers but I wouldn't attempt those pipes for road racing.
I'm sure they'd be fine for drag racing or putting around though.
