If you jet on the conservative (rich) side you should be OK. Like Scrambler says, jetting right on the edge is the danger zone. Remember, stingers are not "normal" for the street, so even though Higgs has it all figured out - their design may be for short WFO blasts only.

In the video you are 4 stroking a little..so probably already on the rich side ;)

While we are on the subject, LC has been advising me to remove the perforated plate from the ends of my mufflers (J&R OEM). He feels the plate restricts outflow enough to build up heat and damage the motor. Reading this thread has me even more convinced.

I ran Denco stingers (3/4" stingers) for a track day once. I could tell, the motor would have fried on a track with any longer straights. I took them off more for the people at the track, as every time I went around a corner, I could see the corner works stick their fingers in their ears, and my pit neighbors didn't like them either.

They do nothing more than straight pipes on a V twin, they just piss everyone off.......... :e4 :thumbdown:
