In 1972 I was riding a friends '70 Bonneville thru the Adelaide hills, while he was riding my H2 in preparation for a 3 hour production bike race. The same thing happened - I went over the top and escaped intact, apart from a knock to the head, which hasn't affected me at all :crazy: Ripped the exhaust pipes off the pristine Bonnie, tho. We coasted downhill about 5 miles to a friends garage, passing cars all the way. Things happen quickly, even though it goes into slow motion!! And you can only hear the relevant sounds at the time!!! Man, that was 39 years ago!
