and still look good

they may "look good", but you are leaving about 10 horsepower on the table.

Denco's need to be LOOSELY mounted at the rear so they can move. If they are mounted solid, they crack.

Beautiful Bike!!...and VERY COOL that you are the original owner. You've kept her in nice shape.

Did you send the cyls/heads out to Denco in California?, or did Denco of Indy (or Ohio) do them for you?

What year did you have the denco stuff done?

Select "User Control Panel" near the top of a page, on the right side. Then in the menu on the left, pick "Profile". That's where you can set your approximate location.

As a teenager in the 70,s,i could,nt afford to keep replacing the denco,s.The wirges worked very well for me.As for the denco work I had done,it was about 1976. Sent cyclinders, heads and pistons to California. Never heard of denco anywhere else!

When my Wirges chambers cracked, I welded them and kept going. I couldn't afford to buy new chambers just because of a couple cracks. :D

Denco had a few "satellite" shops around the country. Not full blown shops, just guys that ported at regular motorcycle shops that were licensed to use the Denco name/badges/etc and ported to Tony's specs.
