I just got this out of a barn where it sat Since '79! non op'd and only 7,000 miles. Thanks to Porschedave for telling me about this site when I met him in Monterey at Bike night on my way to pick up the H1. below is a picture of my new H1 in 71...I had 2 71's and a disc brake 72 before turning 16 and getting a car. I plan on a complete resto of me "new-old" H1...what are some thoughts on pipes...Stock or Chambers????

Nice find, and have Dave rebuild your crank.
He is very good at it and reasonable.
Just stumbled on to a 70 charcoal grey myself.
The money drain will now commence. LOL

What a find !!! Right now I have a 73 H2A,74H2b, and a 75 H2c. At 16 years old Igot my first street bike A 1971 H1 Bluestreak !!! I couldn't begin to tell you the thrill of riding that bike. I felt like my legs were straight out behind me blowing in the wind ! Iwent from a G4 100 cc trail boss Kawasaki dirt bike to a 500 triple . WOW!! I LOVE chambers but I would put stock pipes on that bike . For some reason they look better on the early 500,s. Thanks Jack750 P.S I would love to find one to restore jack.fontaine @yahoo.com anybody have one ?

Hate to do it, but finances dictate giving this one up.
