More info, kawie triple for sure, made around 220 hp. They made three of these and they were big ultra custom projects that destroyed trannies and weren't very successful. Working on getting more pics.

Didn't think you could run much boost with a triple??
Maybe they are making most of the power other ways...

A couple of my friends that still live in Whittier, Ca., used to work for Blower Drive Service there. They started a break off company years ago, didn't take off, but, they were doing superchargers for 3 and 4 cylinder two stroke snow mobile engines. They called the place "Superchargers, U.S.A.". I think they got out of it, and someone else got it, haven't heard much of it in many years. They did get those two strokes to work well with moderate levels of boost, though.

I was present fr a few dyno sessions with them, and they never took an engine out with their supercharger systems. Heard of others making their two strokes into rubbish with turbo applications, though. I always wanted them to put one fo their 4 cylinder combos in a bike, so I could take it for an extended test crash or two.

I know a couple of local guys that have messed with hair dryer installations on 2 stroke snowmobiles. One of the guys is one of the chief R&D techs for Polaris, so knows how to make a two stroke go fast...with or without turbo.

The other guy is my good friends' nephew. I believe he's running a Polaris 440 twin and is putting down ridiculous 1000ft times with it.

this kid (mid 20's) is also in the process of installing a turbo charged sled engine in an old '60's Mini Cooper with a CVT transmission. Should be interesting.

Cody,
Wouldn't it be hard to keep the crank seals from leaking on a triple with much boost?

That can be addressed Jim, not a huge problem.

Thanks John; didn't know that it was possible.
How do you keep the seals itact with much boost?

They have pressure seals, and the cases can be cut for retaining rings, so the seals don't blow out.
