Someone asked about more pics of the bike in my avatar. It has been posted on the other boards, but what the heck.
I raced this in 77-79, financed by a couple of friends and built by all of us. We ran several classes over the years and set several IDBA records, though the only one I can find now is D/F 10.22 @ 129 mph. My memory says we were faster than that, but that may be just wishful memories.
My friend has kept the bike all these years, and I recently bought it back from him, and sold it to one of our H2 racers from the boards who is going to restore it in its 70's form. That makes my friend and I really happy to see it kept together.
It was raced with a purple tank the first year, then we used a Tracy body with a couple of different paint schemes. We started with a Denco 149, and went to FBG motor which we used most. I still have the FBG cylinders if anyone is interested.
