Nice but why not just use the rear motor mount , you gain nothing by not using it and lose nothing by using it  , I'd run a fork brace too , not much stiffness in a fibreglass fender .

I'm going to run a 18" front wheel and same rear mount EX brake on my H1 , looks good on your bike

When racing, anything to make repairs faster/easier is done. So 2 less bolts and mounts to deal with pulling a motor is a good thing. A bit of weight saving also. Plus that lump of aluminum motor isn't going to move with the other 3 anyway.

And our small track, my fastest cornering speed is under a 100 mph and I never had any kind of cornering "weirdness" without a fork brace. I actually did my laps at Daytona without a brace, with no weebles or wobbles.

And thanks! I know you will like the combination, with the lighter steering and better brake leverage with the smaller wheel.

Thanks for that! I try to do my best to help guys out when i can. And videos do seem to help a lot, so I'm glad to do them.

I hope others will jump in too, so we have a large sections of different mods that work for guys.

On the H2R's, we used a "Lord" insert in each engine mount boss. They were a tube that had a rubber bumper on one end. This allowed a bit of "slop"from side to side, but no slop on the mount bolts front to rear. If we used the upper rear mount, the mounts, both plates and bolts, it was only a matter of time before the rear upper mount boss on the engine cases began to crack and fail.

Obvious fix was to leave the entire upper rear mount unused. On some different chassis, we did use only the frame boss for that upper rear mount to hold a rear fairing mount bracket, but as not as an engine mount.

I would think using the Suzuki, or stock Kawasaki rubber mounts would stop the cracking of the upper rear mount boss on the engine cases, though.

I never use the upper rear mount on my bikes, but that is only my preference.

Agree youtube vids are an awesome help I use them often for many things , unfortunately I can not make or add any vids myself, but for the record ,,,,

an EX front brake and low Euro bars are my absolute favorite improvement on the S3 , so simple and inexpensive but the improvement is priceless in ride satisfaction :D

I thought the video was very well done. Maybe not professional quality, but I enjoyed seeing the many details about the bike, and hearing your narration. So thanks!
