Here is a little walk around video I took today. The low idle was because the handle bars were turned. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRS5JY0uzBg

Cool stuff  I've always liked the ram-air covers on the GTs - ebay!

The position of the bar shouldn't change the idle, that should be set by the idle screws on the carbs. If moving the bar does change the idle, you need to get some slack in the cable and then set the idle screws.

The other possibility is that the enricher plungers are being held up by their cable and not seating properly. Same deal, you need to get some slack in the cable.

I don't think I even used the idle screws on the carbs. I think the cable adjustment is doing all the work. I'll get around to messing with that..

I wish you guys lived closer and could take it for a ride. I am really proud of how it turned out and how awesome this combination handles.

Video shows he has no choke cables attached and no enrichers.

Im trying to figure out how much ether he had to shoot into her to get her warmed up and running from cold with no chokes???

She sounded good to me, interesting build.

Just a little squirt on each filter  It probably wasn't even warmed up in the video. I just don't like that big mess of cables. I need to figure out which manual choke things will work. I bought some last year but they didn't fit... I am also in the middle of a truck project and a jetski rebuild. So I am juggling projects.

Really? I am so accustomed to it that I can't tell anymore... It is really comfortable. I was planning to get a cafe seat and mount it to the original seat mounts since I have an extra set of seat mounts laying around. That way I could switch back to this seat easily if I wanted to ride a passenger.
