Bit too loud for the street IMHO..........

Seriously? You've got to be kidding?
Nope, no kidding!Ive been behind your bike more than once John and its no quieter than that... Ive watched you wheelie and hammer on that thing.
That's one reason I wanted new pipes, quieter ones. When I ordered my first WTF's I was supposed to get full internal stingers, that didn't happen. And you've posted more than one video of you hammering on your bike in a residential neighborhood of all things?
That's true, I do, do it in the middle of the day when people are work and kids are in school. you make and sell reed kits and do port work that only work properly when using chambers, which are inherently loud.
I disagree that chambers are inherently loud. It's just easier and cheaper to build them louder. You could barely hear Dave C's Aprilla.as to the bullshit "noise" laws being passed nation wide? we know it has nothing to do with noise, and everything to do with revenue generation in a hurting economy.
Whatever the reason, loud pipes are giving them enough reason and backing to get the laws passed. In Albq. they tried to pass a motorcycle noise law, for all the Harleys coming home from the bars revving the crap out of their bike as 2am. That failed as it was too "specialized", so they just made it a all encompasing noise ordiance. They did get a law passed against any loud bike downtown.
the fact is loud pipes piss people off, The V twin try to piss people off, have been for decades. With the advent of 2 stroke weed whackers and leaf blowers, the population hates 2 stroke noise even more. And are trying to ban loud pipes on dirt bikes now. And it's just going to get worse.
Other than the Gap, I probably don't do more than 100 miles a year on the street, and if the track wasn't 80 bones an hour to rent, I would probably not ride on the street at all.A board member posts a cool video of him having fun on his bike (in what looks to be a pretty secluded area) and a comment like the one above is a MEGA
That's fine. I just don't see how it was a "Mega" downer to say my opinion that it was too loud. I didn't jump all over him............
