Want a 3/8" drive impact My IR reactionless ratchet just doesn't have enough torque Bought a used MAC off of ebay and it wouldn't torque to 40 ft/lbs even though spec is well over 100 That was returned CP has a really nice air ratchet; claims 400 ft/lbs !!!! about $150 new Plenty of used Snap On's (IM31) for sale used at $70-80 although I am leery of buying these as many are not returnable and all look really "used" Plenty of high dollar new choices; this won't get a lot of use Been thinking that it might be cool to go to cordless Looks like DeWalt has a 12 Volt, 2lb., 100 ft/lb unit for about $140 for the gun, charger, and battery They do make up to 20 Volt guns but just don't see the need for more than 100 ft/lbs and really small and light is best Of course all my other cordless tools are Ryobi so I need a charger and battery Any advice from you guys? |

I have all Dewalt 18 volt, until recently. I am moving into the 20 volt line. Very nice, light, powerful and long battery life. It also has a charge life indicator on the battery. |

I have a few of the Ryobi 1+ line tools and have been happy with them. Long life lithium batteries and fast charger. Wondered how well the impact gun worked myself. You can pick them up for around 50-60 bucks at Amazon or evilbay. |

In reverse, nothing is torqued that high anyway, at least for the normal wrench...... |

I don't think there is a bolt on ANY Kawasaki that would need more than 100 ft/lbs and I've got an IR 1/2" to cover big stuff anyway. It's those millions of 6mm - 10mm bolts that I will use for at least 75% of the time |

You might consider a butterfly air wrench to snug the bolts, and then finish by hand. |

Just use a battery powered drill or screwdriver for installation..... |

Tried that. The clutch as well as torque does not work well unless the screws are loose. Jim, I sold my butterfly ratchet years ago as it didn't have much power; perhaps the new ones are better. |
