I don't know the G3SS as well as some guys, but it looks like they used some paint stripper on the tank, painted the rear wheel, fork sliders, head, and cylinder black (poorly), installed a clubman bar, and decided that added about $1450 to the value.

Nice little bikes. Can be made to fly - Kawasaki had lots of upgrades and tuning info all linked to their legendary G31M 100cc racing motor.

Used to ride my 1969 G3ss 90 from Smithtown to Glen Cove 4-5 days a week to the Kaw dealer I worked at.
A good 35 miles each way including the "Long Island Distressway"
I did do a few minor mods to the motor with the help of the mechanics there.
Like the baby green streak motor they told me.
What did I know? I worked in parts... LOL
It definately beat any other similar size bikes, I know that.

Anyone interested in a pair with a title?
