Taking my 87 year old mom to visit my sister.
Are there any bike or other cool activities (other than the mountains) to check out?
TIA

Think doing this for the southern rally , my mum is also 87 years old, still driving and doing 500 miles a day if need on driving (but on a car  ).
Will make a test ride to see if she can always ride as passenger on bike for a long trip.
Anyway, the idea is she will take her car until Calais, let the car in Calais, pick up her and we will go to the rally site around 40 miles with the tunnel 8-)
No camping of course hotel

Hey Rod - It would be approx. 1,670 miles; I wouldn't make it considering it would be about 26 hours; I'm only good for about 4 hours per day of that kind of vibration

Congrats JP - My mom does still drive but her back could never stand a ride on a bike though

Sounds like there is no reason to go to CO other than to see my sister; nobody with good bike vacation ideas?
