I found out about this bike from the current edition (September) of Sport Rider magazine. It is meant to be a near copy of the famous V-4s that dominated 500 GP racing for over 20 years. The claimed peak crankshaft hp is 160. The claimed dry weight is 320 pounds- about 100 less than an H2. Of course it has a lot less power and more weight than an actual racer. I do think the price is fair. They had to design and build it and start a new company just to sell 46 of them. All I have to do is sell my house and then I can buy one! Its more than a little annoying to think of some of our ex- public servants giving speeches with their remuneration about equal to the price of two of these bikes for one speech. |
