1971 Hemi Cuda production, 9 cars, two of which were convertibles. 1971 Hemi Challenger production, 71 cars, all hard tops. |

It won't be long and we will see a 69H1 sell for 50K  When I moved to Ca. in 88 I funded my move sellinga 70 Cuda 383. Bought a 69 Charger R/T in 93 for 2K needed a complete restore. Sold it in 95 for 11.5k and bought a 70 T/A Challenger for 8K. Sold that in 98 for 15.5K. I don't think I could ever afford another E or B body from 68-71.  It was such a better time 20-30 years ago. I have been looking for a Dodge A100 pick-upand a nice one is going for more than 15K, crazy.

owned 2 Citroën DS 21 injection with manual gearbox at the end of the 70s, very cheap cause this car used many petrol, you paid them at this time around $600 in GC with 60.000 real miles on the clock, very convenient you can put one H2 and a smaller bike on the rear (after dissassemble wheels and forks, 3 guys front and all the tools, parts and stuffs for racing, very fast too around 120 MPH) very reliable. Now such car cost 10.000 euros minimum and the very rare cabriolet model which cost around $ 5.000 at this time is more than $ 150.000

Older Citroën's are neat, some of them have individual wheel suspension,,and when they get flats, the one wheel with the flat can be raised into the wheel well, and the car driven as a 3 wheeler, to the tire shop. JP, I know I am going to mess the spelling up, but, the most fun model was the 'Deu chevaux'? The one I had/have is the panel truck. When I worked for Kawasaki, and went all over the world, I had one of those things, and used to leave it on a street in front of my friend's place, between events and trips to European races. We drove that thing everywhere, and last I heard, it was still parked on that street in Cherbourg, three years ago. It was a lot less expensive, and hassle to just buy a junker and drive it until it dropped dead, then do it again, over renting "Rent-A-Wreck" cars, etc (mainly because, if it wasn't a wreck when we rented it, it would definitely be, by the end of the weekend race meet). |

Tuner I owned a 2CV years ago and on mountain roads I knew very well,( kind of roads if you saw nobody at some places you knew you could overtake the car in front of you even on blind curves) I outperformed a guy on BMW 530i on a blind curve and he never succeed to come back, think the guy still cryed  Citroën 2CV is a wonderful car and kind of car which with you have great fun. Easy to repare it's a flat twin engine. Cost around 6.000 € or more to have one on GC now in France, paid mine around $ 600 on the earlies 90s and sold it the same price. |

The red R/T is cool with the centerlines. I had a '70 T/A Challenger (red) I don't remember that color (yours, with the champ 500 wheels) what is that? |
