I just left walmart and checked into the new way to pay people with less fees
I've been to Cupertino and Santa Clara and seen EBay Yahoo and Paypal etc. Those guys are all rich
With Lambos Ferraris and such. Heck Elon Musk has enough of our beans don't you think?

PayPal looks like this
Sales within the US2.9% + $0.30 per transaction

Walmart fees 1% and cash
you can walk into any walmart and hand them say 900.00
Then the other guy can walk into his and the fees are 1.0 %
So nine bucks. Looks easy

Any comments ? Something to think about plus they are everywhere and open late !

Just another of Sam W's money making deals Dave.
Its also the cheapest place besides the post office to get money orders.
They do international payments too I believe.

BUT, I often have folks send me payments as a "Personal" payment.
To friends and relatives when asked at the website.
NO FEE at all if the sender uses Paypal funds.

Works for me and I dont have to drive 14 miles to Wally World and see all the freaks.....

L O L :wtf:

Doesn't paypal charge fees on the sender side of it?

Not on "personal" transactions. But i know they have to keep track, or everyone would be doing it, and they be not making the money. There has to be some kind of restrictions or limits.

That is cheap but it still means a trip to Wal Mart, PayPal is a breeze never leave the house and just a click away from depositing into your own personal account  I just started with paypal as a business payment option I like it so far

The deal is they have to use funds already in their PP account Dave.
If they use a credit card, it does charge the sender.
But that works for me too if they prefer paypal. lol

Dave, thanks for the information, I didn't know that service was available. As Jackman mentioned, driving to Walmart might not make sense for small amounts, but it could be a money saver for doing something like buying a vehicle.

I'm just saying

It's an option if you are buying or selling or a deposit ?
Some folks don't have banks or computers
I have 4 stores within 20 miles
With check fraud cashiers check fraud and
I don't think the Feds know
You walk out with franklins and it's done

Is it 2.9% fee for large transactions too?
That is completely fair IMO.

I have sold tons of vintage musical instruments at a 20% commission, and at $6K for a vintage guitar, it hurts but is competitive.
If I was still doing this, I would welcome a low commission rate although you always fear a return that has been modified.
A buddy of mine just sold the first Wolverine drawing for $550K.
The buy paid a 19.2% transaction fee.

Its worth checking into in some cases.
no tax minimal fee
cash no bouncing checks
no wait? PP takes 2 days at least to transfer into your actual bank ?
